Rain, Rain, Go Away..
On Saturday, there was a fight between the Sun and the Rain. I did loads of laundry that day. So naturally, I was rooting for the Sun to win. It was a very tough fight. One minute, it looked like the Rain was gonna win.. And the next minute, it looked like the Sun was gonna win. It went on like that for a couple of hours. In the end, the Sun lost. The Rain poured and I was so upset! But I had high hopes for the Sun and I told myself not to worry because the Sun will make a comeback. And whatdya know.. It really did make a comeback! The Sun shone. Albeit very little, but it did.. And it stayed that way for at least a couple of hours. :)

Rock Star!
This people, is the B. Romanek Rock Star clutch in crocodile. *drools*
In July 2004, Brigette Romanek decided to design a bag and give it to her friends for Christmas. When Christmas 2004 came, she presented the bags to her friends. From there, the B. Romanek collection took a life on its own. Her friends were constantly stopped on the streets by strangers asking where they could buy the bag. By February 2005, Brigette's bags could be seen on the arms of Demi Moore, Courtney Cox and Zooey Deschanel. Also Eva Mendes, Sophie Monk, Rachel Zoe, Heather Locklear, Ashlee Simpson and many others!
The Rock Star clutch is a wrap-around clutch and the inside is lined in suede. It comes in so many colours like Cognac, Black, Chocolate, Bone, Midnight, Salt and Pepper, Lime Juice, Lipstick, Forest, the purple one at the top (I don't know what it's called) and another one (I don't know what). It comes in 11 colours.
You should see the bag when it is open.. The flap unfolds and unfolds into a crocodile tail. It's so cool! Now, which colour should I get? :)

Flexibility & Freedom
I'm thankful that my job allows me the flexibility and freedom to work while on the road, as long as there is internet connection.
I'm thankful that my bosses trust me this much - to give me this much freedom to do my own stuff.

Free
by The Martinis
Omnipresent phrase in my mind
Spoken word I've said one million times
Who're you to tell me it'll always be this way
I close my eyes and I turn around
And leave it all behind
So free for the moment
Lost somewhere between the earth and the sky
So free for the moment
Lost because I wanna be lost
Don't try to find me
Always try to breeze through my life
Repetitious things I've done one million times
Who're you to tell me it'll always be this way
I close my eyes and I turn around
And leave it all behind
What could I do
It's not such a terrible thing
What would you do
It's not such a terrible thing
So free for the moment
Lost somewhere between the earth and the sky
So free for the moment
Lost because I wanna be lost

Just Stand Up
As I get older, I'm more aware and conscious of my health. There are many things that I want to practise in my everyday life to live the healthy life. I have still not managed to get my lazy ass to go to the gym more often than I would like to. But I've managed to drop a very bad habit. Probably one of the worst habits someone could pick up. And I did it cold turkey. Eventhough there are not many things that I know of cancer, I would like to learn more about it.
Here's a list taken from the SU2C website on what you can do to support this campaign on cancer awareness.

Love Story
by Taylor Swift
We were both young when I first saw you.
I close my eyes and the flashback starts:
I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air.
See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns,
See you make your way through the crowd,
You say hello, little did I know,
That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles,
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
And I was crying on the staircase,
Begging you, please don't go.
And I said, "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story, baby, just say yes"
So I sneak out to the garden to see you.
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew.
So close your eyes, escape this town for a little while.
'cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter.
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
But you were everything to me,
I was begging you, please don't go.
And I said, "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story, baby, just say yes
Romeo, save me
They're trying to tell me how to feel.
This love is difficult, but it's real.
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess.
It's a love story, baby, just say yes"
Oh.. I got tired of waiting,
Wondering if you were ever comin' around.
My faith in you was fading,
When I met you on the outskirts of town.
And I said, "Romeo, save me. I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in thy head? I don't know what to think"
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said,
"Marry me, Juliet. You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad. Go pick out a white dress
It's a love story, baby, just say yes"

Luck Be A Lady
The Malaysian girls from TARA season 3 really have luck on their side! They were doing quite well.. And the first time they got last, it was a predetermined non-elimination round! That was luck on their side already, if I might say. And this week, they got last again.. And again, it was another predetermined non-elimination round! That's twice in a row! Talk about luck!
I enjoy watching the two Malaysian girls race because they really play it cool.. Not all aggressive and out to stab the other teams so that they can win, like a couple of the other teams. They're really enjoying themselves.
But I also like watching the other Malaysian team simply because of their brother-sister relationship and because they're Malaysians too! :) Another team I also like watching is the Filipino team. Well not really the team, but more like one half of the team. Not the guy half, but the girl half. I think she's really attractive. She's sweet. :)

I Wish..
I was watching Georgia Rule on HBO but it rained and Astro went crazy. So here I am blogging. I'm supposed to be studying because I have a training to conduct on Tuesday but since it's the weekend, I just feel like lazing around watching tv or reading one of the books I bought a couple of days ago or playing games on my PSP. I'm currently playing Warriors Orochi by the way. I have so many things that I want to do. I wish that there were more hours in a day, more days in a week!
I think I should just enjoy what is left of the weekend and read my book. Ta!

Unhappiness Aside
Going to Nasim's Raya openhouse today. Feeling quite excited about that because it means I get to wear my new baju Raya which I have not worn yet, with my new stilettos and my new clutch. Heh.
He brought me out 2 nights in a row to jalan-jalan and have dinner. First was Carl's Jr at Sunway Pyramid. He wanted to bring me to Bangsar but it was raining too heavily and we felt it was too dangerous to drive so far in that condition. He picked Carl's Jr because I love the guacamole burger so much. He is sweet that way and I should remember that. The next night, again he wanted to bring me to Bangsar but traffic was so bad that we took a detour and ended up at Coffee Bean at Mont' Kiara. We had good salmon sandwiches and chatted. At the end of the night, it was okay that the traffic was bad and we had to take a couple of detours because he knows I love going around with the top down (not mine, the car) and I did enjoy the ride. And we went to a place that was quiet and kinda cosy, and we both like that. I know he's trying to make me happy. I should always be thankful that I have someone who loves me like he does.

The Sun Will Shine
Going through a really rough patch now. I feel sad and so miserable.. Second guessing everyone and everything I do. Have to pull myself together. Telling myself that this will end. I am stronger than this. Everything's going to be alright and I just have to hold on..

X6 & Breakfast
I got to bring home the X6 last night. Was so excited! People say it looks funny, it looks weird. But I quite like it. It looks like a monster car.. What a monster who looks like a car in a cartoon would look like. But in a nice way. If that makes sense! Haha. I like the X6!
I have a breakfast date with the girlfriend at 9am but I'm still in bed, under the blanket, posting an entry on my blog. We're going for breakfast at Bangsar then we're going to see if there's anything interesting at those quaint boutiques at Telawi, Bangsar. I should get going now. Ta.

Poker With The Old Boys
Last night we hosted a poker party for the Old Boys. I don't gamble so I didn't play. But I got RM34 in tips, being the dealer! Haha. That's quite a lot considering the amount that they were playing for. Heh. The boys started playing at about 11pm.. And finished at 4am! And we wanted to get up early so we can have breakfast. So we only had about 3 hours of sleep. Felt like a zombie during breakfast but how often do we do something like that anyways.. And we had fun. :) Oh, I'm posting this entry using my phone. The wonders of internet on-the-go. :)

He Was Very Nice
I'm thankful that I have someone as strong and understanding and loving and patient as him. He was very very very nice to me today despite me being a total bitch. And I'm very thankful that I have him.

Non-Smoker
I have not smoked for 32 days. The last time I quit was when I was in uni. And I stopped for 2 years before picking up the habit again due to final year stress. I want to get rid of the habit longer this time.. Hopefully until the day I die. Trying to get him to cut down and eventually quit too.

19 Months
Today marks another milestone. Albeit a small one.. Still another milestone. 19 months. We've had our ups and our downs. He says our relationship is like a roller coaster ride. When we're up, we're really high.. And when we're down, we're very very low.. But I love him nevertheless. :)

I am officially broke. In the past three days, I have bought and spent
- A pair of black satin stilettos (10% discount with HSBC card) RM 134
- Two bolster cases for my bedroom (just because they were on 50% discount) RM 40
- A lot of lingerie RM 410
- Nokia E71 RM 1,200
- A pair of chocolate suede maryjane shoes RM 169
- Two silk pashmina shawls RM 50
- A black satin clutch to go with my stilettos RM 239
- Two pairs of jeans RM 452
Excluding how much I spent for baju raya, which was about RM 1,000 and duit raya to give away tomorrow, which will be about a couple of hundred ringgit.
Argh! I am not gonna shop for the next 6 months! And I've already asked him to slap me if I want to buy anything else other than food. Heh.
Nevertheless, shopping is therapy.. And I'm happy :p But I'll be happier with another handbag :p

This Is My Cat
This is Ben (in one of his many sleep poses). :) I adopted him from an independent animal rescuer about 1.5 years ago. Ben drools in his sleep. Haha.
My dad spoils him crazy. My dad feeds him fresh fish everyday! And if my dad buys a different type of fish, he won't eat it as he only wants specific fishes. Ben is very mengada-ngada that way.
Ben is very funny too. I always take photos of him sleeping as he always sleeps in the funniest manners.
I wish Ben would eat more as I would love to have a fat cat. Maybe I'll adopt another one.. At least Ben will have a friend of the same species instead of always being so clingy to my dad. Haha.

Don't Stop
I was being my usual self and talking and talking non stop. He was playing a racing game and kept crashing. So I said, "Ok, I'll stop talking and let you play your game" and he said, "No, don't stop talking. I'll feel strange that you're not talking" :)
