CNY 2011
I had a good long break during CNY this year. I took 2 days off work, so in total, I had 6 days off. Here are some photos taken over the long break.
We had dinner at Delicious;
We discovered a beautiful mosque when we went for a tahlil;
A cousin of mine, Ling Huey, actually wished for no rain when tossing the yee sang. Hehe.
We had dinner at Delicious;
No cars at all on LDP!
My handsome Eddie posing handsomely with his latte.
My delicious grilled chicken caesar salad. Yummy!
My delicious red velvet cupcake.

Eddie posing funnily in front of the mosque.
We were pretending to be 'tourists' in Turkey or something like that. Haha!
We had CNY dinner with the family;
Handsome Eddie in red in honour of the celebration. He got a lot of angpows that night. Haha!
Yummy yee sang waiting to be tossed!

Huge fish deco at the restaurant. I LOVE fish!
Crab looking at me. I wonder what he's thinking.
Has anyone ever eaten this? Can somebody tell me how do you eat it and what kinda dishes?
All in all, it was a normal quiet CNY. I was rather surprised to receive quite a lot of angpows. Eddie was even MORE surprised as this was his first time having CNY dinner with my family. But I think it would be his first and his last. Next year, we'll have to start giving angpows. Huhu.

Batafurai
Today I made origami butterflies with Diya. I used pages torn out of Eddie's old Time magazine, Diya used coloured paper.
I'm thinking if I should fold hundreds of origami something for the wedding. I really like the idea of 1,000 flying cranes but I guess it's a very much used idea. I think butterflies would be very nice. Any thoughts? :)

You Are On The Same Frequency
I know this post is very very late in the new year, we are now entering the second month of the year. But as this is MY BLOG, what I say, goes. :) Plus it's not like I have any readers who are curious to know what my new year's resolutions are. Heh.
This year, I don't have any resolutions per se. But it is more like a list of things to do. This is it (however, this is a non-exhaustive list).

Update #3
I have LOADS of travel stories and photos to share but simply can't find the time to write nor edit the photos. In the past months, I went to:
Singapore and visited Marina Bay Sands India and visited the Taj Mahal Delhi, Kashmir and Jaipur, also in India Sandefjord, Norway (again) for a meeting Stockholm in Sweden Bangkok numerous times
A few friends and I actually drove from Sandefjord to Stockholm. It was a 7-hour drive (plus a 2-hour ferry ride). Interesting story there.
Also organized Syikin's baby shower. LOADS of photos there too!
Will try to find time on top of the wedding planning to post stories and photos. Yea, you read that right. Wedding planning. I'm getting married! Hehe.
P.S: I have a meeting tomorrow with Chenta Weddings. I am SO EXCITED and NERVOUS! Hehe.
